Mark McClaren

Data Architecture and Solutioning Director at Caterpillar

Mark McClaren leads the Data Architecture and Solutioning organization at Cat Digital, part of Caterpillar, Inc; the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, off-highway diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotive.  Mark and his team are accountable for organizing the data building blocks about dealers, customers, customer fleets, as well as telematics and service information about their equipment.  His team leverages those data products to enable applications, analytics, data exploration, and business intelligence use cases.

 

Mark has more than 25 years experience with positions across Caterpillar leading Global SAP implementations, implementing cutting edge technology, 6 Sigma Black Belt, and data platforms.

 

Mark graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a BS in Business. 

Darmin Memisevic

VP and Principal Architect at Gallagher Bassett

Darmin Memisevic is a Principal Architect with over 18 years of experience. He has held roles in consulting, data center design, and system integrations across the government and financial sectors and more recently in risk management and insurance.

He has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with data analytics platforms.  Darmin enjoys participating in architecture council forums ensuring client feedback shapes product road maps. His feedback has made an impact with feature prioritization into products leveraged globally by Fortune 500 companies. 

In his current role, his responsibilities include the design, implementation, and support of Gallagher Bassett’s data analytics architecture. He works with stakeholders across the organization to identify and understand data platform needs.

Darmin believes that a successful data platform is not always about using the latest technology but rather being able to address the most critical business needs and project requirements in a consistent and timely manner. 

Anand Ramakrishnan

Director – Enterprise Architecture & Data Engineering at Rotary International

Anand Ramakrishnan is the Director for Enterprise Architecture and Data Services at Rotary International, a global nonprofit organization with a mission to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace.  In his role, Anand has shaped the Data and Analytics strategy at Rotary and is implementing a roadmap to fix the architectural foundation by which systems integrate with each other, establish data quality standards and governance, and modernize the legacy data platforms.  His vision of providing the right data to the right people at the right time to make the right decision results in Rotary transforming itself into a data driven decision making organization. 

He has 35 years of experience focused on helping enterprises deliver value added outcomes using data.  He is passionate about exploring innovative ideas in organizing and presenting data that drives business insights using advanced analytics and data science.

Anand lives in Hoffman Estates with his wife and two daughters.
