From Data Laggard to Data Elite: How to Cross the Data Divide

One industry after another is getting disrupted by digital natives and savvy data-driven incumbents. They are powering their way to dominance by using data and analytics to provide an exquisite customer experience. The gulf between the “data elite” and “data laggards” is growing steadily, and by 2025, it may be unbridgeable.

This session highlights the technologies, tools, and techniques that the Data Elite use to gain customer loyalty, grow revenues, and disrupt an industry. It will cite examples of digital disrupters in various industries and discuss the role of artificial intelligence, self-service analytics, and federated organizational models, among other things. Finally, the session will provide a prescription for how Data Laggards can cross the divide.

You Will Learn:

  1. What separate data laggards from data elite
  2. The three C’s practiced by the data elite
  3. The three stages of intelligence
  4. A formula for crossing the data divide: P4*D=V
